VAN HUSEMAN
Van Huseman was born in Harlingen, Texas and grew up in Corpus Christi. He attended Amherst College and the University of Texas Law School, has been in practice since 1973, and now holds certifications in civil trial law and personal injury trial law. Van's outside interests include banking, ranching, and too many hobbies to list.
Van spent one year as a legal aid lawyer after law school before joining the predecessor of the current firm. He has been involved in many lawsuits during his career and has tried more than 200 jury trials. After graduation from W.B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi, he attended Amherst College and the University of Texas Law School. He is presently chairman of the Nueces County Hospital District, past chairman and director of First Community Bank of Texas and of its holding company, belongs to the American Board of Trial Advocates, College of the State Bar, and in 2013 was listed in The Best Lawyers in America by Woodward White, Inc.
